About TransKit
TransKit: Gender Affirming & Liberating Practices Training
TransKit has been designed as a series of online training modules to empower you, the mental health provider, to build awareness, sensitivity and competence in providing treatment to transgender, non-binary, intersex or other gender expansive people.
The content and resources found within our training system have been taken from research conducted within the last five years, established best practices as identified the American Psychological Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, Endocrine Society and information derived from clinical practice and interviews of providers in some of the worlds most respected LGBT centers.
Content found within these modules will be refreshed twice per year to ensure the most up-to-date information is provided to new trainees. We recognize the increasing frequency of new developments of concern within the gender expansive community. For the latest information on factors which are relevant to your patients or clients, please visit our updates section.
